KDC SEEKS NEW TRUSTEES

KDC has been providing high quality services to enable disabled and disadvantaged people to achieve real choice, independence and opportunity for more than 40 years.

We have an excellent reputation, an experienced and committed team of staff and volunteers and a healthy financial position.

There has never been a more exciting time to join our Board of Trustees and help make a real difference for our local communities.

To be a Trustee of an organisation is an interesting and fulfilling role. The most effective Boards are ones which benefit from individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds, experiences and skill sets.

We are interested in hearing from people who have business management, legal, financial, marketing or fundraising experience. Applications from those with direct experience of the challenges that having a disability can bring to daily life are particularly welcome.

In terms of commitment, you must be willing and able to attend four Board meetings a year plus the annual business planning away day. Involvement in at least one Board Committee will be encouraged which will require attendance at committee meetings four times a year.

Interested? Phone Joyce Greaves, CEO, for an initial informal discussion or email joyce.greaves@kdc.org.uk
