An Appointee is a person or organsation that the Department of Works and Pensions (DWP) authorises to manage the welfare benefit payments and responsibilities for someone who is unable to do so themselves

Our service is designed to support vulnerable people by claiming their full benefit entitlement and looking after their day-to-day finances. We safeguard people’s  money and always act in their best interests.

We work closely with individuals, their families, carers, residential and home care providers, social workers, healthcare, housing and other professionals to deal expertly and efficiently with all money matters.

At KDC our independent, customer-centred, friendly appointeeship service, which is authorised by the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP), is designed to deal with the welfare benefits of a person who, due to underlying circumstances, is unable to manage their own affairs.
