Knowsley Disability Concern has agreed a set of values which all trustees, staff and volunteers have signed up to. They have been adopted as the standard for ‘the way we do things at KDC’ and are:

- We will always put people at the centre of the way we work
- We will be courageous, broad-minded and creative and shall challenge the norm

- We will be good at communicating and be open and honest in our dealings
- We will involve the people we work with in designing and developing the services they use
- We will value diversity and challenge discriminatory behaviour and attitudes
And we will uphold and maintain the principles of the Social Model of Disability
