Nimbus Access Card Essential Companion

This ticket is for an essential companion, please purchase a regular ticket from above for the Access Card Holder. We will only accept the Access Card with a +1 symbol as evidence that an essential companion is required. Please note that you will only receive a free Essential Companion Ticket when accompanying a paying guest over 3 years old.

The Cinema Exhibitors’ Association (CEA) Card

The CEA Card is a UK-wide scheme for people with disabilities. It’s one way for cinemas who take part to make sure they make reasonable adjustments for you when you go to the cinema – it includes a free ticket for someone to go with you.

You can find out more, including which local cinemas take part in the scheme, and apply online on the CEA Card website.(external link opens in a new window / tab) Cards cost £6.50 and are valid for one year.

Even if a cinema is not taking part in the scheme, it is worth asking whether they offer reduced or free admission to your carer or assistant.
