The League of Helping Hand

The League of the Helping Hand helps those who are living on a very low income, receiving the appropriate welfare benefits and who have exhausted all other funding sources including statutory funding, occupational, local and specialist charities. We help those: with physical and diagnosed mental health conditions, learning disabilities and people caring for an adult or child with a disability.
Assistance is offered to all ages; help for children should be made through a parent/legal guardian (as the recipient).

The Glasspool Trust

The Glasspool Trust is one of the few national charities making grants to individuals which has no restrictions on the type of beneficiary. Our aim is to provide timely, life-enhancing support to people in need; short-term involvement for long-term impact.
We do not accept applications from individuals directly.
We believe our grants are most effective through working with front-line advice and social care agencies that provide a package of support.
Our vision is of a society where people in need receive sufficient support to over-come hardship.

The Florence Nightingale Trust

The Florence Nightingale Aid in Sickness Trust provides grants to help people in need who are ill, convalescent or disabled. These are used to provide medical and household aids that make a huge difference to people’s ability to manage at home and live as independently as possible.

Currently we are considering all requests for funding for people of all ages who are sick, in poor health or disabled and require medical items and services to improve their quality of life.
