Adult Social Care Services in Knowsley are changing be part of the decisions Call to Action Day – Thursday 5 October 2017 The Old School House, St Johns Road, Huyton, L36 0UX 9.30am to 3.30pm lunch provided KDC has been talking to lots of people about adult social care services in Knowsley. Now it’s time for more people to get involved. We are pleased to announce the chance for those who use services, their carers and families to get alongside the decision-makers in Knowsley Council to help shape support services for the future. Commissioners of services want to give people the power to change the way their support is delivered. This event is a big step towards coproduction in Knowsley. This the first of three major events coming up and this one will focus on Supported Living and Respite Services. Want to be involved? To reserve your place contact Johanne at KDC Phone: 0151 480 4090 Email: johanne.ross@kdc.org.uk Coproduction is when professionals and citizens share power to design, plan and deliver support together. Everyone has an important part to play to help improve quality of life for people and communities. Many of you will have been notified that your financial circumstances have been reviewed and as a result the amount you pay towards your care and support has changed. Remember that when this happens you need to amend the regular payments you make into your direct payments bank account. If KDC is managing your direct payments for you, please contact your bank to change the standing order. Please do take action in time. If you don’t there may not be enough money in your direct payments account to pay your PA or service provider.
