Located: Knowsley (travel throughout Merseyside, North West Region and occasionally further afield)
KDC delivers services to enable people to access Direct Payments from their local authority as a means to take control over how their health and social care services are designed and delivered. These include:
• A comprehensive payroll processing service for individuals who use Direct Payments to employ their own personal care assistants
• A managed account service for people who are unable to cope with the administrative tasks involved in operating Direct Payments, for example, receiving funds, paying wages, operating a dedicated bank account, etc.
We are seeking to appoint a Services Coordinator to deliver a range of sales and marketing activities to improve our profile and expand our customer base across the North West and further afield.
The successful candidate will have a general understanding of Direct Payments and how personal budgets operate. An essential requirement will be the ability to promote services to the public as well as social care professionals, both face-to-face and on-line via social media, websites and e-marketing portals. Experience in preparing tender information will be a distinct advantage.
This is an exciting new role and a great opportunity to join a well-established organisation with a strong profile locally, making a real difference to the people it supports. Initially, offered as a one year fixed term contract, there is a strong likelihood of the position becoming permanent.
