Due to the growth of the business, a new role has been created for a Payroll Team leader to join and support a busy team of four and reporting to the Service manager. The role is based in Huyton, Merseyside and the opportunity for hybrid working exists

The Role

We are seeking to appoint a full-time experienced Payroll Team Leader to lead a team of four payroll administrators and take overall responsibility for operational delivery and customer service.  The successful applicant will be

  • CIPP qualified or similar qualification
  • Experienced in the use of payroll systems
  • Possess in depth knowledge of payroll and pension processes, including HMRC and PAYE
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Experienced in managing and supporting staff
  • Experienced in performance managing
