Staff and volunteers from KDC enjoy Knowsley’s first Disability Awards Evening

On Monday 3 December we attended the celebrations to recognise achievements by and in support of local disabled people as part of the International Day of People with a Disability.

Dot Ashton (Advocacy Manager) with Graham Barker, KPAC who co-sponsored the evening. Dots team of volunteer advocates was nominated for the Volunteer of the Year Award.

Lisa Simpson (Simpson Board Enterprises) with her partner John. Lisa was nominated for the entrepreneur of the Year Award.
